I drive tractor trailers for a living and just recently started listening to Hugh Hewitt while on the road at night. I haven't driven these for 20 years or more just since 1996. But I know that 20 years ago when truckers were going down the road and heading into adverse conditions they all just about knew what was up ahead of them due to the only distraction they might of had was a sandwich,cigarette,drink,and their CB Radio. That CB probably helped prevent many trucks piling into each other in some of those conditions but with an accident tossed in too. Now we have way too many distractions to mention. Plus alot of truckers don't have CB's or don't bother to turn them on when confronted with those adverse conditions with an accident up ahead. They just barrel up on it and then slam on the breaks at the last moment and hope they can stop in time.Larry,IL
